Dutch history at it best, with stunning stories about the people that lived here, told by the guides (during COVID small groups only are allowed, and one guide per room). The castle gardens are also worth visiting.
If you will travel to Utrecht, I recommend to visit the castle in Amerongen. Amerongen Castle is one of the beautiful residences in Holland.Visitors may admire the art collection and gorgeous gardens of Castle Amerongen. The castle can only be visited by means of a guided tour.Tours are in Dutch, you get an English translation for every room. But the translation in English gives very little information, it is better to make excursions in English for foreign tourists.
It's beautiful. The volunteers make the castle come alive. They took a lot of corona measures.
