It's not the nicest station in the Netherlands but it does its job I guess.

Best way to go other place Amsterdam. İf you come from Amsterdam Centrum to nearly place then never use Train because of it accept only 16 Euro cart limits. Use other device as Tram or Sprinter. Also you can use A and B Last Stops front of Central Station at Amsterdam Centrum.

The beds are clean and soft. The neighborhood is very noisy and you can hear other people in the hallway. I've had better for these prices, nevertheless a comfortable night.

I was treated very well here. Due to an unfortunate incident I lost my wallet at one of the ticket vending machines. Some honest person turned it in to the ticket window. By the time I called the railways to report my wallet missing it had already been logged into the lost and found. I was able to retrieve it after I showed an other form of identity.

Trains in Amsterdam are well run and on schedule. The station has a few food options including a Starbucks. The platform has a small kiosk to get food and beverages. The kiosk also has some seating if you want to get out of the cold.
