A brilliant and friendly place in Amsterdam. You can find artists from all over the world, the owner and staff are great and the atmosphere is always great. I enjoyed going several times so far and listening to different kinds of music. Latest time there was a US classic rock style band. Loved it. If you are looking for a fresh and cozy experience, this is the place to be.

Really great place to go when visiting Amsterdam. We just wanted a drink and some fun, without really knowing the place and this was perfect. We watched two different sets that were both great. Barman was really funny and friendly (he even sang to us... Emil, Emil, Emilyyyy!) Great atmosphere. Met plenty of locals as well as a nice UK couple, who we spent most of the evening chatting with. Perfect to relax, have a beer, enjoy music, enjoy Amsterdam, meet people.
An excellent down-to-earth, but yet boutique music venue, away from the relentless surge of tourists in the center. A small and personal venue, completely lacking in pretension, that embodies a truly international feel that the best places like this in Amsterdam exude. Rene who runs the venue is often found on the microphone, providing lost harmonies to well known tunes from behind the bar and you're never quite sure what will be playing, but I have always been pleasantly surprised. A very nice venue for lovers of music. As I went many years ago, I returned recently and was again treated to the wonderful warmth that is the nature of this venue, that is built on its taste and service. When I visit Amsterdam again, I will most certainly be calling in for a drink and hopefully a jam!
Best live bar in Amsterdam. The owner shows great hospitality, crowed is very mixed but very friendly and great to hang out with. One of the most relaxed bars in Amsterdam.

Great place for live music of all levels, tastes, colors and sizes. Rene, the owner, is a man with a big heart and a firm handshake, who's made the place cozy and international. If you like nice international atmosphere and live music - this is probably the best combination you'll find in Amsterdam these days.
I have enjoyed this cafe as a musician and as a visitor. There is still real love for music at this cafe, which gives it a really good atmosphere. Every night good music and good people.
Great music and bar owner really helps to bring an awesome vibe to this establishment. Busy but not crowded on a Friday night. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area.
