Its a small room, 4person.the beds are small and thin Matratze. Not clean at All. Internet WiFi is Not good. . A other Person was sleeping in my bed when iam arrive, He,the Manager, and ppl who works there, was friendly , but can Not help, for any reclamation.you must Deal with Problems by yourself.luckily stay only 2Nites...but the location is nice, middle in the centrum from Amsterdam.

Value for money. Basic bed, small stairs (all in Amsterdam), no waiting area, general space where you can just sit, open a laptop, eat, weak wifi signal, etc. What makes it ideal is its location, really in the center of Amsterdam and the staffs are really helpful and friendly.
Location of the hostel is fantastic, but it comes with limited space, cramped and steep stairs. The reception was good and it was open 24/7. They rent you towels, locks, keys, etc. for a fee or a deposit. The room was okay, nothing out of ordinary. Broken shower head and nothing to dry the floor with after a shower. Price/quality comparison results in a 4/5 star rating.
Great stay, friendly staff. Their location is really good, almost at the heart of the city near the most happening places. Budget friendly. The only thing that sucks is their wifi.
Nice hostel, clean and comfortable. There are lockers for rent under the beds, which is nice, but the stairs are really steep and it is quite hard to climb them up if you carry a big luggage. There is also a coffee maker in the hall, which everybody can use.
Location is superb. Really is in the center of everything. There are 6 or 7 rooms in total with different me of bunk beds with a bathroom in them. Bathroom was clean but absolutely no ventilation, so it is little hard to keep it clean. Beds were as comfy as a bunk bed comes and luckily absolutely clean. Storage is a bit clumsy but enough space. Also table in the middle of the room. Big plus: windows are openable, looking for a little garden, perfect to let in the air and sunshine. Negative: Only 2 beds has plugs close by. The hostel doesn't have a cafe, or lounge or anywhere to socialise, in fact the check in desk in 3 square meter and the steepest stairs leads to it (and to the rooms) so absolutely not suitable for anyone with disability, very heavy luggage or extra clumsiness :) but that's just how the houses in Amsterdam, super steep narrow stairs. All in all good hostel but lacks the hostel athmosphere due to the lack of communal space. And the cat is a big plus, entertaining.

The staff is the best part of the hostel. They are ALL so kind and welcoming. They are the only reason I gave the review one more star. Unfortunately, this is really the only good thing about the hostel besides its location. We had absolutely NO HOT WATER. We all had to take freezing showers. They also don't clean the bathroom or room well at all. There is dust and grime all over. I was here for 6 days, and only the bedding is changed for new guest arrival. The toilet is cleaned I believe once a week, and I believe this is the only thing they clean in the entire bathroom. They also do not assign you beds, so there was some confusion about who's bed belongs to who. Even the staff would get my bed ready for a new guest when I was still a guest there myself. Also, the temperature of the room was never great. Always way too hot at night. I think I paid about 200 for 5 nights, and I certainly did not get my money's worth. With all these issues with the hostel I feel scammed. Don't stay here.
