Lorraine is an amazing cook and pretty friendly. She serves a wide selection of french brunch and more. I tried the crepe with ham and egg and cheese and I loved it. Definitely worth a visit. It could be a great authentic Amsterdam experience.

What a wonderful place in Amsterdam to have a cozy breakfast or gouter️ I’ll come back for sure. Merci ma belle Lorraine. Absolutely great food, small but cozy place and great drinks!! They also offer free WiFi. You have to brunch here when in Amsterdam, it was our favorite. highly recommend
Delicious!!! The restaurant is open for take away during lockdown, so to spice things up a bit we had the anti-covid bowl the quiche (and a killer marbré cake) to take away for lunch. The safety measures are there (gel at the entrance) and Lorraine is super sweet. We forgot to take a picture because we were too busy enjoying ourselves with all the food. Thanks!
The one bad thing about visiting Chez Lorraine was not ordering a croissant. What a lovely little cozy french cafe. Food for the soul. Hard to tell what I liked the most, the perfectly handcrafted food, the cute french decor or the sweet and friendly owner. I ordered the quiche. Not the best I’ve had in my entire life, but definitely one worth coming back for. The right amount of ingredients to be able to enjoy the silkiness of the quiche. Perfect pie crust, and baked on point. Got to admit, no matter where you are, the French know what they are doing. Naturally, there is always room for improvement, and coffee could be better. Maybe a partnership with some roaster in the city? Other than that, this place deserves 4 solid stars for its food and 10 for its service. What a perfect place to stumble upon. Officially bookmarked as ‘favorites’
Found this Gem while strolling down the \quieter\ streets of Amsterdam, tucked away on the outskirts of the main town. If you are after simple yet, delicious & fulfilling experiences you should not miss this one, the food is always full of Love ️
