Simply lifting the seat up will cost you 1.50 Even when there are no customers inside I can recommend Het Zwarte Fietsenplan, which is literally 50 meters around the corner - they are happy to help free of charge with such small repairs and their staff doesn't gang up on you saying \We've never seen you before so why would we help you?\ I'm not a Karen, I'm just a food delivery guy. Thought they'd help a fellow cyclist out...

What kind of assistant refuses money to help fix a bike? Worst service EVER here. Which in Amsterdam is a real achievement. Stopped as I have before to pump up my tyre. This time it went drastically wrong and the pump made my tyre fully deflate. I went into the shop, waited until the guy had finished serving and the shop was empty to apologise because it says the pump service is free because there is no shop service with it. I told the guy what had happened, said I needed some help and was happy to pay for whatever he did He starting yelling at me that they don't do shop service for people pumping up tyres. I said I needed more help and would be happy to pay. Still yelling, he fixed my tyre and refused to help me any more. He completely ignored my offers to pay. He said he was too busy (in an empty shop) to do ANYTHING for me. I was stunned. But judging by his physiology, the stains on his teeth and general attitude I guess he comes from a culture that doesn't appreciate serving autonomous (unmutilated, black) women. As I was taking a photo to write this review he came out again to be just to be abusive. This is a man who seriously needs an anger management course.

About two month ago I came along this shop in my neighborhood to fix my flat tire. My old bike definitely needed a new tire and after friendly welcoming me in their shop they offered to fix it for me. I enjoyed their professional and friendly approach and after picking the bike up later that day ( really quick service and even notified me per phone that I can pick it up) they even tightened my chain for free as they noticed it being loose during they repair. That’s what I call awesome service. Can really recommend the shop. It’s also clean, organized and pleasing to browse around.

Bought a UNION bike at this place, and enjoyed the friendly staff and good service all the way. My rear wheel had a problem/bulge after a few weeks (still don't understand how that happened) and when I went back they did their best to help me as good as possible, and at the lowest cost possible. I highly recommend this place.

Wanted to repair my brake cables but they didn't want to help me because they don't service Sparta e-bikes. Even though the brake system is a standard one thats on almost all city bikes. I went to the shop around the corner \Fietsenplan\ and they helped me quickly. They also found it ridiculous.
