For the typical seaman, it’s a great place to drydock, 15mins walk to the free ferry which takes you to Amsterdam Central. Dock was well secured and access in and out the shipyard was easy. Dock workers were pretty helpful and assisted willingly when called upon. There were also a few immigrants working at the docks that will occasionally nag you for some sort of PPE. Only problem was one forklift operator who were always hesitant to assist even when ask by his own colleagues.
