We've visited this little cozy bar on the Sunday evening occasionally and were surprised it wasn't overcrowded despite it is located on a pretty lively street. Good choice of local and Belgian beers and jenevers for the reasonable price. Fantastic scenery and service with a good sense of humor.

We occasionally entered this small restaurant on Friday evening after a long touristic day in Amsterdam and were greatly surprised with a very friendly atmosphere, excellent menu and a wide choice of beer. Service was perfect, meals were freshly cooked and tasty (boiled mussels!) and beer was belgian(!). Highly recommended to visit!

Great little pub with good selection of beers and liquor. Before I went I read that it had traditional Dutch food but initially thought against getting food when we got there because there was no one in the place and no sign of a functioning kitchen. However, after 30minutes or so the place filled up with both locals and tourists and I’m pretty sure the food was being cooked at the busy restaurant next door and then brought into the pub. We got a selection of 7 entrees which was very nice and other people’s meals looked great. Bartender was fantastic, she seemed to know everyone in there and even after the place filled up she was attentive and remembered I didn’t like really sweet beers.

It's like drinking and having fun in your grandma's parlour. And that's meant as a compliment, my grandma is cool. Awesome selection os local beers as well.

We had the set menu and had the pea soup and salmon salad and for the main course the meatballs and salmon. It was all delicious and the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The vibe in the place is wonderful and fun. I highly recommend it.
