Spicy vegan ramen! Creamy, filling, a little bit spicy and full of interesting textures and flavours. One of the best vegan ramens I've ever had - and I've had quite a few. So good I returned a week later to have it again. Take away and delivery available atm. I waited less than 10 minutes both times. The large version of the Tantan spicy vegan ramen (16) was enough for two of us.

Yum! It’s my go to for Ramen in Amsterdam. Consistently delicious and fresh. There is a lovely variety of different dishes to choose from and they offer a chicken broth alternative to the pork broth with the Tori Lemon Ginger. Which is my favorite! It’s absolutely incredible. In fact they also offer rice noodles for those who want just a little less gluten in their diet. Highly recommend adding an egg. Every time I leave Fou Fow I feel satisfied and warm, ready to face the rain in Amsterdam. Oh and the gyozas are excellent as well.

First of all, you have to wait more than 20 minutes for a soup. Sounds fair, of course, when there’s a lot of customers and everything has to be prepared freshly. But when I came, all the customers had already been inside for 25 minutes (I waited outside for a seat), so they shouldn’t have been so busy. And then, finally, after all that waiting I got my soup. Tan tan to be exact. Let’s start with the fact that I asked the lady who was taking the order if the soup contained corn. She said it did but in reality it doesn’t - so she doesn’t even know what’s in the food she serves. Second of all, the egg and the meat were cold. Not just warm, or not hot - it felt like it was taken out straight out of a refrigerator. So what were you doing for these 20 minutes? And now let’s talk about the taste. If you want to go out of this restaurant puking all over, sure, go for it. The amount of salt they put in their dish is just inexplicable. I felt like I ate a soup with a whole bag of salt in it. It was impossible to eat it all. I ate 1/3 and felt sick after it. So did my boyfriend. It’s the first time ever we’ve left some food on a plate. And all of that cost us 16 euros. Seriously, for 7 you can eat much better and not want to throw up after some time. Not recommending for sure, I went there because of the reviews and I cannot believe my very eyes they are so positive.

I don't know if it was due to my hunger or so, but this ramen is seriously the best I had in my life. Rich broth, chewy noodles, much toppings. And don't forget the dumplings, well made, well seasoned. The place is a bit tiny and humid(?) but worth it!

The gyoza are amazing but the ramen are disappointing. The ramen are not authentic Japanese ramen at all. The soups were not enough concentrated and the flavours are only ok-ish. Also, the chilli sauce on the table is not hot at all. I did not taste any spiciness even though I have already put 5 teaspoons of it into the ramen.
