Didn't stay here, but the young lady we dealt with in the coffee shop area was a great asset to the operation. She explained about the hostel, and we found that the prices were very reasonable. Now I'm older and a hostile may not be in my future, but when I was younger, i travelled extensively in Europe utilizing these communal living places quite a bit. An interesting place to meet new people.

Very pleasant stay in the hostel. Location is perfect and the staff is helpful and friendly.
Its clean. Simple. And nice and close to the centre. Deffo a hostel. It smells like marijuana everywhere. But it's the Netherlands. The music next door plays till about 11pm as its next to a coffee shop. But that means you dont have to worry about noise levels yourself. Great for travelers & mates. Not so much for family.
Oh, I love this place it has the best coffee show with best staff and best price in Amsterdam. The location is perfect. Love it this is the only place I visit for smokeing when I am in town. Would strongly recommend.
Good location in the centrum near to Dam square. The thing i didn't like was the stairs it was so scary to take the starkes and the bathroom wasn't fresh. You can't wash your hand in the toilette you have to wash them in the bathroom.
No star from me. Here is why... I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights with 2 other friends, we got a separate 3 single bedroom, price was a bit high, but we didn't mind it as we had our own space. The only annoying thing after the first night was that I started getting very itchy and annoying spots on my body. One of my other friend started getting them too. We searched around the room to see if there was any mosquito's around but I couldn't see any! Which leave it down to bed bugs!! Now that I am back home (England) even after few days the red itchy marks. I have around 20 that I could find all over my body. The reason for the bad review is so the business can improve on these issues and make their business better and also help other people decide where is the best place to stay
Very small plain room and the beds were ok. Everything was clean but this hostel is managed by Bob's youth hostel about 300m away so service is basic. Shower and bath are shared but shower opens right into the hallway as some hostels. Definitely rugged for the price, not bad though
