I moved from the US to Amsterdam with my wife and cat and HousingNet made it as stress free as possible. Cavan (out agent) was very prompt to respond when we contacted HousingNet and set an informational call to discuss our move, Amsterdam and how they could help. During this call Cavan outlined the steps he would take in finding our apartment and provided helpful insight on neighborhoods to consider based on the activities and environment we enjoy. After the call concluded Cavan sent over a document that allowed us to outline our priorities (Bedrooms, outdoor space, Pets, etc) along with collect key information about us for the property owners. Once our move was confirmed Cavan quickly found a wide range of properties for us to look at from around the city. After we reviewed the listings, Cavan conducted video tours of the properties to provide us with a better feel for each apartment. When we selected an apartment Cavan was able to negotiate a great price and bundle in utilities. Cavan and the team at HousingNet made the rest of the process go smoothly. All the necessary paperwork was presented to us in English and all the key details explained. This renting process had the potential to be a massive lift in any year and an enormous one during COVID. Cavan and the HousingNet team made this so easy while finding us the perfect apartment. If you are looking for help finding your next apartment in Amsterdam especially if you are an expat and coming from abroad, I cannot recommend HousingNet highly enough. Also, our Cat loves the apartment and as we know that is all that matters...
