Really nice experience but a bit on the pricey side for the portion. It’s a touristy restaurant if you wanna try more authentic local Indo cuisine there are Other smaller places but still very nice. More upscale place

Nice place to grab a beer or a simple quick bite. Food is yummy, good beer selection, acceptable prices. Nice coffee shop right across the street.

For a first timer eating Indonesian food, I had no expectations but after the meal my husband and I were disappointed. We ordered the 3 course meal at 36 euros p.p. The appetizer (chicken soup) was amazing. It was what we needed after a long day of exploring Amsterdam. The lemon was no overpowering but complimented the chicken flavour. The herbs and fried onion brings out another complexity. The main course which consisted of 8 side dishes and rice, only 3 were outstanding. The chicken satay was by far the best so I would recommend that . However the rice was to soft and no flavour. Their chicken dishes were good. The lamb was too gamy and the beef was too dry, they also had no spices to mask the flavour. The drinks (ice tea and coconut milk) were decent. The dessert was amateur presented. The service was also really slow. If you want to sit at a restaurant and leave asap for your next destination, you might want to think twice. It took 30 minutes to get the bill.
