WOW. What a great experience. I live in the UK and I was visiting Amsterdam for my friends wedding. My friend gave me the this amazing tip, a designer dresses renting service. They provided me the most beautiful dress for the wedding. The Litchy girls give perfect and honest advice. I couldnt be more happy with this amazing tip! The most beautiful designer dresses to rent for good prices. This way you can wear a new dress to every event!!
I’m 1,52 cm and weigh 63 kg, almost all of the dresses were M or S. All of the larger sizes were gone. Some of the dresses smelled like perfume or deodorant and the dresses didn’t feel “expensive” at all. The clothes are made of odd fabric which makes some of the dresses itchy or heavy. Lots of the dresses were way too long if you’re 1,52 cm and I’ve never seen such hideous clothes in my entire life. The “vibe” the store was going for was definitely “high fashion” but I don’t think anyone would wear those clothes in real life. The clothes only look good on the hanger/when someone else wears them, not when you wear them yourself. Lastly, you’re only allowed to keep the piece of clothing for THREE days and you’re renting that piece of clothing for 50 (super expensive and I’d rather buy my clothing then rent it for a steep price).

Leuk concept (duurzaam, top) maar toen ik langs ging hing er letterlijk NIETS. Ik zag influencers op insta met items. Maar of al het leuke was verhuurd of enkel die items worden in de spotlight gezet? Het zijn allemaal merkjurken maar veelal oude collecties, er zit weinig recents tussen. Veel verouderd spul en als je iets zoekt voor een luxueuze look moet je ze wellicht vooruit benaderen en reserveren?

Ik vind Litchy echt amazing!!! Zelf ben ik altijd op zoek naar jurkjes die niemand heeft en vaak struggle ik dan met het feit dat ik een origineel, out of the box, jurkje koop en vervolgens maar 1x draag. Litchy is echt de perfecte oplossing voor mij. Ik kan daar originele jurkjes huren in plaats van kopen. Zo kan ik constant vernieuwen, en help ik door minder te kopen, de 'fast fashion' industrie wat in te dammen. Daarnaast is het voor mij een mooie manier om designer items te dragen die uiteraard van super kwaliteit zijn met een perfecte fit. Ik ga er zeker nog vaker huren! Ook een super leuke branding en social media!
Super mooie winkel en een perfect concept! Vind het zelf altijd lastig om het perfecte jurkje te vinden en dat is hier meteen opgelost, super veel keuze en de jurkjes zijn in verschillende maten en lengtes verkrijgbaar (YAY!). Een leuk team en eerlijk advies. Natuurlijk ook fijn dat de Litchy girls zelf ervaring in de mode hebben en ik bij Litchy dus altijd zeker ben van de laatste trends. Thanks girls, mij zien jullie snel terug :)!
