Got to know variety of viruses and how they are omnipresent. It's impressive to visually see there are literally billions of bacterias and viruses surrounding us. Really loved this museum. I would say if you have kids, it's a good showcase for them to ignite their interest in science and microbiology. When you visit the place, don't forget to receive a blank piece of paper and stamp it with as many bacterias as possible before exiting this place.

Highly entertaining and educational museum. The exhibition itself follows along a storyline from the first living organisms to more complex life forms. There are live small animals, fungi and bacteria that you can look at in all its beauty and ugliness. We spent a good hour in it and liked it a lot. Everything is wheelchair accessible but some of the microscopes might be too high up to have a look into it while sitting.

I can't say enough great things about this museum. It's very very different from other places you can go; indeed, it is the only museum in the world dedicated to microbes. There are lots of very fun and very interesting exhibits, lots of cool critters to look at under microscopes. Friendly staff on hand to answer questions. Fantastic!

Fun and interactive gallery all about microbes and the benefits of studying them. Educational as well, especially for aspiring microbiologists. I took away not only an expanded appreciation for microbes but also an adorable little tardigrade plushie. Great experience!

One of the best museums that I have ever been. Highly modern and minimalistic place. This is a great place for children but as well for adults. Everyone find something interesting. Easily you could spend there 2 hours and feel like half an hour passed.

Visited this place whilst on a city break in Amsterdam with my two friends! The staff were so friendly and helpful. The lady greeted us and gave us an overview and even took photos for us. I enjoyed the lift and learning about the microbes in the world. I would 100% recommend to those intrigued in science/ microorganisms & thank you to the staff for making it a pleasant experience!

Extremely well curated. Modern, insightful, educational. Was very impressed. Enjoyed the technician's talk at 4pm. Toilets and free lockers available. If you love art, natural science, or just want to visit a fantastic exhibition in Amsterdam - this is the place!
