This place is absolutely brilliant. I was fortunate to get the opportunity to volunteer here through Serve the City. But I’m told that the first weekend of every month there is a general volunteers can come (pre-lockdown). There were so many great tasks to help out with. We helped make a garbage trolley storage from scratch. There things with fences, digging, moving things. There is a great amount that can be done here. I would strongly recommend reaching out to the folks here and see how you can help out at least once a month. Besides, all this work out will really help you get a couple good nights of sleep. But seriously, the overall idea of this place is also great where people can grow their own produce and come and harvest it. This is such a great way to minimise our environmental impact. So bring your kids, sign up and volunteer. You will not regret it. Oh, almost forgot, the lentil soup cooked over an open flame was exquisite!!! Yum...

Je kunt hier een kaveltje huren waarbij er bijna altijd begeleiding, een zgn. \tuinbutler\, op het terrein aanwezig is. Erg prettig. Alle benodigdheden zijn ter plekke te lenen (i.e. gereedschap) of aan te schaffen (i.e. zaden, plantgoed en compost). Al met al misschien wel wat prijzig, maar voor Amsterdamse begrippen valt de prijs per m² tuin eigenlijk wel mee.

Verborgen parel in Amsterdam. Lekker rustig tuinieren! Voor geïnteresseerden is er veel bekijks. Je kan een boeket samenstellen van aanwezige planten, bloemen/planten, kleine stekjes kopen, etc. Alles wordt op verantwoorde manier aangeboden.
