Unfortunately I made a big mistake by ordering my oak floor by PARKETLOODS, and I'm writing this review hoping you will find it and conclude that you should not make that same mistake. I've spent some 10000e in this shop for what I've though will be high quality multiplex oak floor, but what I've got is floor with unevenly cut planks, and low quality finish which started showing scratches after only 2-3 months of usage. Also, I've ordered 18cm wide oak floor with micro groove edge (in dutch micro groefje). When 2 microgroove planks are put together, they should create seam which is approximately 1mm wide (see darker photo I've made at my friend's place). What was delivered was oak floor with regular edges, where seam is approximately 4mm wide (see lighter photo of my own floor). This is totally not the look I was going for, as white-washed planks with wide dark seams simply look dirty after 2 weeks of usage. After filing the complaint with the company, company's manager John came to visit my place, and after inspection of my floor, he has written to me in email that PARKETLOODS have delivered what they have promised - oak floor with microgroove edge. Here are the most important parts of that email: ************* Zoals ik u al heb verteld is de vloer, zoals deze ruim twee jaar geleden aan u is geleverd, met een micro-groef geleverd. Het is dus niet zo dat het verkeerde product is geleverd. ... Ik begrijp dat u liever een ander antwoord van mij had gehad, maar ik hoop dat u begrijpt dat ik hierin niet meer voor u kan betekenen. Wel wil ik u aanbieden om eenmalig met 25% korting de hierboven genoemde onderhoudsproducten bij ons aan te schaffen. ************* Obviously I feel stupid for doing such an expensive business with this unprofessional company. If you plan to order floor for your new house, I hope you'll be wiser than me and just go somewhere else to order it after reading this review and taking one good look at the attached photos.

We have received a phone call today and are being advised on the maintenance. It looks like we used the wrong product for cleaning. The staff is looking for a solution (the floor itself is not damaged). I find it very helpful. The company cares about the client also after purchase. We have installed an engineered oiled floor around 3 months ago. We were surprised how easily it stains. There were spots after water based paint that are not possible to remove (our fault/renovation). What I do not understand is that even if we won’t wipe the water from the surface it will leave a mark. The floor is hovered twice a week, wiped with damp cloth and special detergent once a week. It is so much hassle. When asked if this is normal and how we can even out the discolorations were send a manual guide, that didn’t answer our question. The assistance after installation is not sufficient in my opinion. The staff in the store is friendly and not pushy. We enjoyed the purchase itself.
The showroom immediately makes you realise that they are wooden floor professionals with all the examples around. John explained and answered all my questions , you hear the passion in his voice when discussing options. I loved that fact I was given a sample to take away which helped when I was choosing paint colours for the walls. Their prices were competitive with other providers and I do rate their service as topnotch not so sure providers close to the German border would offer the same as a \local\company Even with the challenge of the last few months the floor was delivered on time. I had a slight hiccup with the Fidbox , not due to Parketloods, yet John came to the rescue with a solution. My floor looks AMAZING, I am so pleased with the colour and going with non groves Visgrain. Thanks John

Na mijn eerste bezoek naar deze winkel was ik al heel positief verrassend niet alleen over de variëteit aan vloeren (europaeisch, aziatisch, etc) die ze aanbieden, maar vooral naar hun kennis en vriendelijkheid. Om het lang verhaal kort te maken, heb ik 2 verschillende vloer aangeschaft en ben ik in de hele process geholpen met goede advies en service. Ben ik meer dan tevreden en ik ga zeker weer met ze werken in een van mijn toekomstige projecten. Keep it up, jongens!
Heren van Parketloods bedankt! In het bijzonder dank aan John voor de gezellige afspraak in de loods, zijn goede advies en zeer fijne communicatie. Het hout is met al z’n behandelingen, helemaal zoals verwacht en ik ben er ontzettend blij mee!! Nu hij is gelegd, is het werkelijk een plaatje.
Omdat ik een probleem heb met mijn onlangs met hardwax olie behandelde parketvloer (door een andere parketteur), ben ik op zoek gegaan naar een professioneel bedrijf om onafhankelijk advies in te winnen. Zodoende kwam ik op de website van Parketloods terecht en heb ik deze firma benaderd met mijn vraag. Ik kreeg meteen een reactie en werd zelfs gebeld met nader mondeling advies. Betreffende medewerker van Parketloods nam ruim de tijd en heeft de het probleem en de behandeling van de vloer zeer vakkundig met mij doorgenomen, en dat terwijl ik (woonachtig in Nijmegen) niet eens een klant ben van Parketloods, dus geheel belangeloos. Dat zijn nog eens mensen die hart hebben voor hun werk en goede service hoog in het vaandel hebben! Ik ben Parketloods zeer dankbaar!
Ik kwam voor een oplossing voor een klein stukje vloer dat mist na het kleiner maken van een tussenmuur. De dure oplossing betekent veel werk en enkele planken om het weer netjes te maken. Als alternatief (\Ben je handig?\) werd mij gratis (!) en fraaie plank meegegeven waarmee ik zelf het gat kon opvullen. Inmiddels ligt het er best strak in al zeg ik het zelf. Top service van een mooi bedrijf. DANK!
