Quick service, the staff was very reserved; I didn't mind it much. They were mindful of us and we're prompt with the service. Coming from Texas where tacos range galore, this place would fare well over there. The recipes are original and pretty flavorful. The tequila drinks are ok 3/5. All in all its a solid place if you're looking for a quick Mex bite.

Really good! Chef in the kitchen is from Mexico and is doing a great job. Will be coming back for sure. Loved the margaritas and fish tacos!
Today the three of us entered this place at 17.10. The waiter that stood at the counter barely acknowledged us, so we asked her if it was open and she promptly answered with "No, we open at 5." (Well, yes...?) She corrected herself seconds after. We picked a table, sat down and watched her count coins for some time while we were (the only guests) waiting. After she finished counting, she then finally came over and put one menu on the table, conveniently so since she made her way to the kitchen anyway. We then waited a little more (maybe ready to order something to drink) - and soon realised that we felt unwelcome. We can't review the food, but we can comment on the service. If the waiter doesn't feel like working when the restaurant officially opens, then please change the opening times. Or at least try to change the general attitude, because even in Amsterdam you pay attention to the costumer. I guess this should have come across as a cool/laid back way of serving - but it doesn't. Manners do matter.
Cozy atmosphere with candles and up-beat background electronic music. Food wise far from a Mexican taqueria experience with taco sauces being absent and flavors mild. Good for a quick Margarita and nachos, but would avoid if really hungry or looking for a culinary experience.
My husband and I just moved from California to right down the street from this taco bar. This spot is better than a lot of placed back in CA! Great food (Mexican chef), peaceful ambiance, solid margarita - this taco bar is awesome.
I needed a quick fix of Mexican food while in Europe, and this place exceeded expectations, even for a Californian visiting Amsterdam. It was a bit pricier than expected, but the tacos were delicious and the salsa was very flavorful. I would definitely visit again.
I had this place starred based on all the positive reviews, but ended up thinking it was only so so. As a Californian, the tacos were meh. Too much sauce and my fried fish piece was so small I only got it in 2 bites of the taco. Everything is a bit overpriced for what you get. Literally the most expensive taco I've ever gotten and that's after living in NYC for 8 years. Atmosphere is nice and drinks were good, but don't bother eating here if you're hungry.
Classic margarita is small but really good! The menu offerings are limited & focused on meat eaters. There is a vegetarian taco, but don't expect to get filled up if you are a vegetarian.
