The best place to go and learn about the diverse side of the Netherlands. Focused around black and brown Dutch heritage, this place is a cultural explosion.

This was a very educational and pleasant experience for my girlfriend and our mixed-race daughter (6 years). The exhibition has been placed with Vereniging Ons Suriname, an association that apparently has been committed to the cultural representation of Surinamese people in the Netherlands and Dutch people of Surinamese origin for more than 100 years. The combination of the erudite argument by Mitchel Esajas MA about the lack of non-white perspective in many areas in the Netherlands and the expo of Vereniging Ons Suriname increases your awareness about the flaws in Dutch historiography and culture. They also gave my youngest an interesting poster, where she could learn about the actual sizes of the continent’s and see how Africa, also in the case of cartography, is marginalized by the West.
