We had a really good English breakfast. The drinks were nice - the cappuccino was high quality. It’s a nice place to get some city atmosphere and people watch as people walk by to do their shopping. It’s a little off the road as well so you don’t get all the car fumes like at some other city spots. We also had the best service we’ve had since living in the Netherlands. Our waitress was inviting to everyone passing by without being over bearing. She was attentive and fast. She was a gem.

THE VEGETARIAN ENGLISH BREAKFAST So so good, and ridiculously filling! You can choose how you want your eggs and what type of bread. The mushrooms are cooked to perfection and the homemade baked beans are to die for ️ Also: great coffee and cookie

Friendly staff, great food, affordable. English food delights with a Dutch twist. We felt very welcome. We only had a light lunch, but will return soon to try the Sunday roast.

Very nice place. Cosy atmosphere, very friendly staff. The food was great, especially the scones and scrambled eggs. Prices are quite moderate for Amsterdam, which is another plus. The only negative, if you will, was that the toast the eggs were served on was not just buttered, but also spread with some mustard, which can be (and was) a little problematic if you’re allergic. Apart from that, nothing to complain about. Pretty full on a Saturday morning, but we were lucky another couple just left when we came in. So if you can, probably a good idea to call ahead and reserve a table.
