I’m from Russia and as you may all know the beauty standards there are really high and especially for manicure and pedicure. Acknowledging that I didn’t expect anything special from my visit but I also didn’t expect that it would be that bad. After making a big research of nail salons in Amsterdam, I finally stopped my attention on The Nail spot. Their Instagram page seems to be nice and beautiful and the photos of manucure they post look quite professional. But this is all a big scam. Because the photos of manicure they post are, in my suspicion, done by only one nail technician with the most experience. And to maintain the beautiful picture on Instagram, the work done by other technicians they just simply don’t post because it’s done horrible and unprofessional. The manicure and pedicure all together took 1,5 hour (35 mins pedi and 55 mins mani), whereas good quality service just cannot be done in such a small amount of time.

Helen has a beautiful personality and her salon is very stylish. She did a great job with a lot of care. She was very thorough and created a perfect shape and a beautiful colour. Better than I can get at home!
Ly is very professional and has the sweetest personality. I went to many salons in Amsterdam and this one has the best value for money when it comes to nails and the results are the best!
Not only was she able to fit me in last minute on a Thursday evening but she also gave me the best manicure I've ever had. Her attention to detail and care to make sure each nail was perfect AND exactly how I liked it. My new nail spot for sure!
