A lovely, warm, Asian sandwich bar with friendly service and good community ties. Each crunchy bun can be filled with a selection spiced lamb, chicken, beef, pork, shrimp and vegetarian toppings. Super value in overpriced Amsterdam. From 3,50 you can't go wrong here. You get a good filling of your chosen topping to keep you charged and going for the day.

Highlight of the availability of exotic food in the center of Amsterdam, situated just a block from the lively Albert Cuyp market. Tjin's offers a small but very well stocked supermarket segmented by region. You'll find lots of Asian products, but also Surinamese, Mexican, Southern American and even African food ingredients. Often they have fresh veggies and fruits. Their sandwiches and other snacks have a clear Surinamese label and are among the best available in Amsterdam. Well recommended, also because of the friendly and helpful staff.

Loved the friendly and customer-oriented service in the supermarket part. I bought the Madame Jeannette sauce (must try for fans of hot food!) The food: A friend got me something as a surprise, so I don't exactly know what I ate, but it was some kind of sandwich with meat (probably chicken) in some kind of spicy gravy. Quite tasty! Would always come back

Athough the store is small, they have an outstanding large assortment. So they even help you to find your products! Very friendly service. Not to mention their delicious freshmade food and sandwiches. Go to Tjin's for your American and Asian condiments & food!
