Love the place! I made my own bar in the Tony's Chocolonely Super Store - its next to the Bar - and while waiting (only 45 minutes), I ate the choco bubble waffel, the sharing-chocolate-cake, some cocktails, a Tonycinno (LOVE THE COMBINATION!) and a sparkling water. This is so awesome and definately a MUST DO when you're in Amsterdam.

Being huge fans of the Tony's Chocolonely chocolate bars, we visited here with great excitement and expectations. However, the first let down was the menu. There is a heavy focus on savoury food items, whereas we felt that being a chocolate bar, the emphasis really should be on the star product. Going in for something sweet, we had the pecan and caramel shortbread and white chocolate chip cookie, together with the cold chocolate milk and a caramel sea salt latte. The shortbread was fine in that it tasted nice but was certainly nothing exceptional, but did disappoint as there were no pecans in sight. The white chocolate chip cookie was not at all what one would expect. For starters, there was no white chocolate. We enquired about this at first but were told that the white chocolate was on the inside. This was not the case. Sadly we did not take a photo of the cookie. The chocolate milk was the same as sold in cartons at supermarkets, except that it was 3.25 for a tiny glass as opposed to under 2 for an entire litre. The latte also sorely disappointed as there was no saltiness to the caramel at all (which was mostly for decoration purposes on the glass) and the chocolate was a deep puddle at the bottom of the glass, seemingly scalded from overheating during the melting process, and therefore incapable of amalgamation with the coffee and milk. Top marks for the idea for this cafe, but the execution is very poor. Only an entirely new menu with new recipes for the products will suffice to keep this place afloat in the long run.

Was super excited to come here. But the food was not good. We ordered 5 things and 2 of them were decent. The bubble waffle icecream is stale, the white chocolate hamburger buns were also stale. So much that we left them half uneaten. The chocolate milk and sweet potato fries were nice. Would not recommend anyone to come here. Very disappointed.

It was an interesting experience to be here but I genuinely like their bars of chocolate more than the chocolate bar!
OMG cant tell u how fasinating i find this place! Loved the burger and the shake, the cake was also Nice but a little overwelming, smores was good even a little underwelming but the concept overall is GREAT
