No. Don't count on sleeping. The bedroom window fronts the narrow street below that reverberates with harsh nasty sounding two stroke motorcycles late into the night and early in the morning. Without opening the windows ventilation isn't good.enough to sleep. We found unwrapped candy and joint holders in the sofa, cigarette butts on the tiny window terrace, and a seriously unclean bathroom. Amenities such as hand soap, shampoo, paper towels, face towels, , and a bath mat simply weren't provided. The kitchen was pleasant, but the owner didn't provide proper utensils for the non stick pans and mindful kitchen supplies were absent. The shower /bathroom was borderline unsafe. Extremely slick shower floor when wet, no bath mat, and no hand hold. Several bulbs were burned out and four kitchen lights blew out at once. The listing represented an open air dining patio. On arrival, not so. The patio door was locked out and blocked by double bed stationed directly between the kitchen and the patio. On investigation, the owner conceded that he had been forced to lock off the patio because his tenants' noise had irritated the neighbors in the surrounding courtyard to the point where he was worried about losing his rental permit. The initial excuse was that the patio was locked off for "safety." Although a coffee maker was advertised, the built in unit was broken and had been broken for some time. After a day's time and a firm request, the owner unlocked the patio door and brought over drip coffee maker. Our later accommodations in southern France and Catalonia reinforced our assessment of this place in Amsterdam. Don't bother with this one.
