I cannot say I have been to a better art store than this (living in Spain). Very broad selection of art utensils and paints and tools that look alien to me. The people working there are artists! If you're an artist, don't hesitate to ask complicated questions very friendly staff. They will also order stuff for you if they don't have it.

A lot of great things for artists of all sorts. I am a painter and bought some good quality canvas paint brushes and other things and am very satisfied. Compared to Van Der Linde the prices are similiar and staff is very helpful
Great!! I've been in contact with several art supply stores in Amsterdam, van Beek for sure have the best customer service! (And a lot of knowledge) Online you might find lower price, but then you don't have their experience.
