Although the topic is heave, the museum made an effort to depict how people were affected. Especially the children's exposition highlights the situation of different people's vantage points during the war in a very lightly way without downplaying the ugliness and hardship of the war. The exposition is highly interactive which keeps children engaged. Even our six years old, who after several hours still didn't want to leave. Very well done museum!

The Museum describes the experience of resistance in the Netherlands with direct accounts from people who were there. There is plenty of valuable information to learn in all different great audio visuals. Plan for a long visit because this is worthed.

Very great museum with tons of content and stories to keep in mind. We spent 1 hour and a half there, with the audio guide. It's definitely good value for money.

Amazing exposition of world war 2. Especially for kids the junior section is very clear and well thought of. Short movies and exercises for kids long enough to keep their attention.

Not very interesting. The time of the exhibits is so specific. There are 2 routes: one for adults and the other for children. Children must be accompanied. I don’t like they split it up. Family with young children are not recommended.

Overall it is a good museum, but honestly when it comes to the Second World War, the German museums are much more detailed and informative. Not to say that the resistance museum was bad. At the start of the museum they have an introductory film which gives a short overview of the museum inside and I would recommend that film to anyone who is visiting there. The museum takes about two hours to complete and cover most of the important aspects. One of the exhibits that I liked was a detailed map of the Jews living in Amsterdam. This same map is also in display I'm Auschwitz. Please take a moment to reflect about that map and what it lead to. The museum has three main themes, fight, collaborate or do nothing and it gives examples of people who belong to each of those categories. This makes one think about the real circumstances of the Second World War and in a way (for me at least) justifies why the Dutch people did what they did. Overall I was happy that I visited the museum and I would recommend it anyone who in interested in reading WWII history.
