After searching for a room with no success, I turned to NederWoon.nl. I was skeptical paying 30 euros for the membership, but it was totally worth it. The employees at NederWoon give outstanding customer service and truly put extra effort in helping you find a place. I want to give a special thanks to M. H. for her kind character and help with arranging my perfect student room!

My experience was quite good. I initially found them via Pararius, and I didn’t like the fact that I had to pay for being able to visit, however I realized it was quite normal among these companies in The Netherlands and decided to pay for it. I applied for a couple of studios on Saturday, called them on Monday, visited one of the studios on Tuesday and on Wednesday I had already signed my contract! Furthermore, Amber was very nice, helpful and responsive :)
The worst. Lying is part of their daily business. As an example: I took the initiative to call them to make an appointment for the final inspection and key handover a couple of weeks before the end of the month (which is supposed to be their job and not mine, I had done the same some time before that to remind them to schedule a viewing ). The lady on the phone had no clue and told me that they will decide about an appointment and inform me about it. Some days before the end of the month I had not received anything from them, I contacted the person who is supposed to move into the apartment. They actually made an appointment with her. When she confronted them about the fact that I was not informed, they straight up lied and told her that they did. I thoroughly searched my inbox and phone history, no trace about them giving me this information ! I was there at the appointment despite everything. The lady who was supposed to perform the inspection was late and had no clue about the job. This happend more than a week ago and I still haven't received the final inspection report although I called them at least 3 times to remind them (everytime they would claim that they were busy and would receive it the same or the next day). Now I am very worried that I will never get my deposit back. One thing is sure, if I don't get the damn report and my money by the end of the month, I will start a legal procedure. I would be interested if other people had the same problem and how they dealt with it.
Nederwoon Arnhem provides a fine service in letting you find a place to rent. The paperwork was arranged swiftly and without much hassle.
They make you pay for everything! I would not recommend Nederwoon to anyone. If you have serious problems as a tenant they always tell you to write an email but you will never get any response! If you read through the reviews here, for many 1 Star ratings it turns out that Nederwoon pretends that these people have never been in their system. Very embarrassing. It already says how false they are... never again!
