I handed in my two cats - both Norwegian Forest Cats, both prize cats in perfect condition and health and both checked by our own vet just prior to the 6 day stay with A&A. Also both vaccinated against Bordetalla in addition to the normal flu-shot. When we picked the cats up after 6 days, we were told that one of the other cats in the pension had a cold, but that both our cats were fine. It turned out they were absolutely not! Both cats were lethargic, both had lost a kilo of weight, they had 40 degrees fever and were sneezing mucus and blood. Taking them to our vet, it turned out that both our cats had been infected by a variant of \upper respiratory infection\ (Cat Flu). And we were told that they were fine !!! Unacceptable and unprofessional!! --- google translate to Dutch -- Ik leverde mijn twee katten in - beide Noorse Boskatten, beide prijskatten in perfecte conditie en gezondheid en beiden gecontroleerd door onze eigen dierenarts net voor het 6-daagse verblijf bij A&A. Beiden ook ingeënt tegen Bordetalla naast de normale griepprik. Toen we de katten na 6 dagen ophaalden, kregen we te horen dat een van de andere katten in het pension verkouden was, maar dat onze beide katten in orde waren. Het bleek dat ze dat absoluut niet waren! Beide katten waren lusteloos, beiden waren een kilo afgevallen, hadden 40 graden koorts en niesden slijm en bloed. Toen we ze naar onze dierenarts brachten, bleek dat onze beide katten waren besmet met een variant van \bovenste luchtweginfectie\ (kattengriep). En we kregen te horen dat ze in orde waren !!! Onaanvaardbaar en onprofessioneel !!
