Opposite of the Amsterdam convention center you'll find this authentic gem of Dutch hospitality and culinary culture. The 'new' in the name refers to the Amsterdam Convention Center across the street called 'RAI', because it's its third location since 1922. Originally intended to showcase bicycles in 1893 the automobile industry joined in 1900 and luckily there are all kinds of trade fairs and congresses until this day. But back to the place itself: Very friendly and just great .

I love this family sandwich shop. Service took for ever. Then was told bread was baking. 45 mins for steak sandwich. Wish they could speed service or warn us bread would take 20mins because we were working. X

Nice little place in front of Europeplein tube station. Very frieldy staff and tasty food. The atmosphere is cozy, staff is really friendly and toilets were spotless. Highly recommend for a quick lunch and rest. The coffee too was above the average

Place isn't hygienic, as (under the) tables and seats weren't clean, also plates and cups weren't taken away. Meat was put directly on the counter not using a plate, possibly causing cross contamination. Staff was working very slow. Besides that, other orders were hand out earlier too. Even people who came in much later were served, except us. We waited for more then 45 min. for a simple meal, so we left and only payed for the drinks. This was our first and certainly also our last visit to them.
