This is a regular, below average quality and very dutch patisserie (nothing like the french ones). The idea of the store seemed somewhat great (i loved it at first) but the croissants are always over baked (have you ever been to France?) - plain or with the filling, always 5 min over backed, macaroons are hard as rock most of of the times (Gransjean Wijnen & Delicatessen have better macaroons), eclairs are only edible and the staff is so ignorant (!!) as if they don’t need any new customers (what’s wrong with you?). They are located in a pretty busy street, I am sure they get traction and constantly changing customers, but they act as if they don’t need anyone to buy anything from them (before or during the Corona they don’t mind turning the customers down, just the other day I saw a client outside the store, she wanted to get into the store desperately (I wondered maybe something important like kid’s bday?), she was late like 5 min., closed sign on, I saw the employees were inside, they were looking directly at her but did not even bother to talk to her, she left sad). I don’t like to leave reviews at all but when everyone is praising DS Patisserie, and it is clearly nothing close to 5 stars out of 5, I feel obligated to give you the other side of this sad shop. I would not recommend even to try it.
Very good patisserie, nice selection of treats, breads and great freshly made gelato. The staff are very nice and welcoming and quality is always top, can’t go wrong here
By far my favorite patisserie in the Netherlands! I can highly recommend the almond croissants and the caramel hazelnut tart! They also make fresh gelato, which is 100% better than any of the ice cream places in The Hague. This has quickly become one of my favorite places in The Hague!
This must be one of the best patisseries in The Hague. The macarons are to die for.
