The IJskabinet offers a good selection of delicious ice cream. It was a bit difficult to choose from the different flavors because they all looked very tasty – and they definitely are! I especially enjoyed the cookie ice cream with the nice bits and chunks of cookie dough inside it. The prices seem a bit high at first (1,30 Euros for one scoop, 2,50 Euros for two scoops etc.), but the amount was generous and the flavor was excellent. Even more, the staff was very friendly. Very recommendable!

This place is amazing!! There is a good amount of choice and you can really taste the freshness of the flavors. I went for the sorbet option and chose one scoop of mango and one scoop of passion fruit ice cream. The portion sizes are generous so I think one scoop would have even been enough. If it’s a sunny day I recommend to get some ice cream from here and then cross the road to sit by the waterfront of the Hofvijfer. Great to relax and enjoy the bustling city around you.

The flavors look great, however, they taste rather mediocre. We had much better gelato in the Netherlands already.
