A very good museum with amazing collection and exhibitions. You need to reserve 2 hours minimum for it. And take kids with you - they will find a lot of fun and entertaining things there.

I went to the specific Johan van Oldenbarnevelt exposition that is to see till april 2019. It is excellent! It has interesting facts of a very specific person that played a key role in the formation of the Netherlands. If you go there to learn the history of the governing capital of the Netherlands, definitely go there. It isn't a large museum and 10 euros is a decent price, but its history definitely is a learning experience.
