No wheelchair-accessible entrance
A very positive thing is that it is quite relaxed to wake up at the beach and not having to carry everything every day. And go for a nap after lunch time. Further there are a few points for improvement: A bit disappointed with the surf school. They give lessons the entire day, 3 groups at a time. They completely take over the water in front of the houses. Nice if you are taking lessons but not if you want to enjoy the water with your family. There should be defined areas for surfers or spread them along the beach instead of having them all in this area, in front of the houses. Further, the beach is not handicap friendly. There is no wheelchair access. Regarding the houses, these are Ok but not ideal. On the top floor (bedroom), it is not possible to stand. Also the access stairs are not child friendly. Further, in warm weather it becomes so hot upstairs that it is not possible to sleep. We had to sleep with 4 people down in the sofa bed. Looking at the other houses most people keept the front and back doors open to get some fresh air. We didn’t feel comfortable doing that during the night. It would be better to have windows at the top front of the house and leave them open during the night to cool down the house. There is no dish washer or washing machine. It is however possible (for a fee) to use the washing machine at the camping site.

I hate the beach
Wir sind rundum zufrieden und haben zu zweit eine wunderschöne Woche im Basis Modell verbracht. Wir haben jeden Tag (nicht nur Spaghetti ) gekocht, Ausstattung Teller, Töpfe, Messer, etc. war vom Umfang und Qualität gut. Die Eigentümer Familie Kooper war sehr freundlich. Die Kaution hatten wir 2 Tage nach unserer Abreise auf dem Konto. Absolute Empfehlung!
Schone strand met goede faciliteiten
Goed bereikbaar via trap/pad overgang. Prima parkeergelegenheid.
Es war sehr stürmisch, das Haus hat gewackelt, der Strom ist teilweise ausgefallen. (25.9./26.9.20, Sturm 105 bis 110 kmh)Es war ein aufregender, aber auch wunderbarer Urlaub, denn wir haben uns jederzeit auf die tollen Vermieter und ihre Söhne verlassen können. Die Probleme wurden schnell gelöst und als Trost schenkte uns Frau Kooper eine leckere Auswahl von Bieren und Likör aus der Gegend. Für das Wetter und die Folgen ist niemand verantwortlich. Umso schöner, wenn sich so umsichtig gekümmert wird. Danke Davon abgesehen, das Haus war gut und zweckmäßig eingerichtet, das Schlafsofa total gemütlich und der Blick auf das Meer unbezahlbar. Und auch während des Sturmes war es sehr gemütlich. Wir freuen uns auf das nächste Mal.
Het is super lekker wakker worden op het strand echt geweldig
Die schönste Zeit des Jahres direkt auf dem Strand zu verbringen ist hier durch die kleinen Strandhäuser rund um die Uhr möglich. Wir hatten eines der Standardhäuser bewohnt und waren von dem Konzept begeistert. Jedoch sieht man an vielen Stellen starke Abnutzungserscheinungen bei der Einrichtung und die Ausstattung mit Küchenutensilien ist uneinheitlich und gerade so auf das Nötigste beschränkt. Hier sollte dringend nachgebessert werden (z.B. die Kühlschranktür schließt nicht bündig ab und dadurch sieht es so aus, als ob sie nicht richtig zu wäre). Der Service mit Gepäcktransport am An- und Abreisetag verlief reibungslos und die Dame war sehr freundlich. Alles in allem hatten wir einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt.
