Nice hiking through this old estate, long ago built with profits from slave trade. The trader built himself a small palace, in a style still to be seen in some other buildings on the estate. The palace itself was bombed in WWII by allied forces and burnt to the ground shortly after by the leaving German commanders. Since then it is owned by the protestant church, recently they upgraded the congregation center.
