A very authentic interesting museum about the local events in Dordrecht during the second world war. They show how life was for the people who endured increasingly the scarcity of groceries towards 1944 and 1945. Booklets that explained how a nutritious meal could still be prepared from tulip bulbs and other non courant plants. Ersatz coffee. How to make a stove in order to be able to cook after the gas was cut off. A bicycle to tred to energize the dynamo to power the radio set to be able to listen to Radio Oranje in England. The museum must be kept vivid!

Nice explanation, nice models of war, very good situated near a nice channel
Nice. Shame about the lack of English explanations. Otherwise really nice collection.

Erg leerzaam.
Leuk klein museum
