We adopted a cat from you 2 months ago. Per the contract, the cat should have been vaccinated and checked by the vet. We paid the HUGE adoption cost of 175 for this service. She has been incredibly sick from the day that she arrived and has costed 1k in vet bills already. She had broken teeth that became infected, she was sick from missing vaccines. If the cat was sick after adoption, I understand that it is our responsibility. This however, is not the case. The cat was given to us sickly with problems that we can barely afford. She was coughing all night the first night here and smelled like rotting infection from her mouth from the broken teeth. This is unethical and unacceptable for you to give us an already sick animal and lie about her being checked by a qualified veterinarian. It’s also disturbing that this animal had been suffering under your care and was not helped sooner. I will be making sure to put the word out everywhere about your website and make sure people know what kind of business is being operated.

After 12 years my dog passed away. I have had many dogs in the past so without a dog was something I was not used to. As I did not want a puppy I decided to become a member by Verhuisdieren to look for a new dog. I compiled a matching profile for some reason I could not be matched with the dogs I chose on the site. I specifically wanted to adopt a dog that really needed a home and not a breed, since I believe in letting nature run it's course. Also I was looking for a dog just past the adolescent age, since they usually get adopted less easily than puppy's. What I like about verhuisdieren is that you have to make a profile of the things you're looking for in a dog and will see only the results that match with what you can offer and look for. I think that really helps with finding matching homes for dogs and prevents them from getting back in the system or to a shelter. I spent a few months looking at the profiles daily. There were many amazing dogs, but that spark where I new in my gut that this was my match, happened only after seeing probably 100 profiles pass over months. When I saw Airin's profile I knew immediately that she belonged with us. We got in touch with the amazing foundation (SOS Dogs NL) that got her out of the shelter in Slovakia and had brought her to NL. They were also very thorough in making sure we would be able to offer Airin the home she needs before setting up a meeting. And that's how I found my dream match. She has been with us for 10 months now and she is absolutely amazing and stole everyone's hearts Please don't buy from breeders, instead get on verhuisdieren.nl to give a dog a second chance. Spend some time to find the perfect match and be honest with yourself in the process. Many people are hesitant to get a dog from abroad or with a 'previous' life, but I am convinced that if you have a connection and are willing to put in the work (as you should with any dog!) you will find yourself the most loyal, thankful, amazing companion you could wish for. I've met many people with adopted dogs and they all have beautiful stories and social animals
Bad experience! You are required to pay a minimum of 20eur in order to even take contact to any of the owners or stichting. We have very little requirements and yet there is no match with our profile and any of the kittens. I'm all for supporting animals in need, but this feels more like a scam so would love my money back...

ZEER SLECHT.Het enige wat ze mij gaven waren hondjes van een jaar of 7 oud. Ik had gevraagd tussen de 2 en4 jaar oud. Ook vragen ze geld voor zogenaamd \ het dier\ hond maar kan ook kat zijn. Dit vind ik belachelijk, zoiets moet gratis zijn. Dan vragen ze nog fixe bedragen voor een hond of kat. Dat laatste dat deze beesten niet gratis zijn dat snap ik.maar soms bedragen van 400, vind ik wel een klappertje. En dan voor een hond van ongeveer 7 jr.en ook kreeg ik steeds maar weer te horen dat de hond niet bij mij zou \passen\ waar bazeren ze dat op? Ze kennen je helemaal niet.en dan nog een dinggetje, je kunt totaal niét persoonlijk met ze in kontact komen, alles gaat via de computer. Hoe onpersoonlijk is dit,ze oordelen dus over je in hoe je bent,via de computer, en zeggen op deze mannier een match te kunnen maken, heel erg belachelijke manniet van communiceren. Bellen kan OOK niet.echt slecht.
