Very good croquetes. Tourists usually don't eat Dutch dishes when they are in Holland because Holland doesn't have a particulary good/special cuisine. This is their national pride and even though most tourists don't like it, it's worth a try ! Specially the croquetes at Van Dobben, you get the Amsterdam \gezellig\ treatment and you can say you had a true Dutch experience. The price is okay -it's not expensive but not that cheap either.The only minus point is the location, but this is a typical snack to eat in a park or on a bench with friends. Try it ! I hope you enjoy !

Love their croquettes! It’s served in a brioche bun. We tried their veal and shrimp croquettes and both were delicious. Would come back :)

A no nonsense sandwich etablissement with typical amsterdam style sandwiches. The sandwich with the popular van Do ben croquette is a hit for over 40 years.

Tasty Good if you find and try some new things from the menue card but staff is rude and do not explain or recommend some dutch specials, accept the well known krokettes which you can eat everywhere in Amsterdam

Cold unwelcoming Unfriendly staff!! We ask for typical dutch fast Food but no bitterballen or krokets which we get everywhere and they say again and again, bitterballen,krokets, Hamburger ?!?! So we went out without to buy something for eat
