I found this company online when I searched for someone to design the cover for my PhD dissertation. Based on the amazing covers showed on the website and the clear information sent by Ilse after contacting her I decided to let her do the job. From the beginning she was closely in touch with me to find out about my preferences. We co-developed a series of ideas for the cover. After each round Ilse worked out some sketches after which I could choose the best option to continue with. Even when we reached the final version, Ilse was more than willing to change the last details until we were both fully satisfied. The final cover design is almost a piece of art and outstanding compared to other PhD covers.

The complete process from start to delivery was very fast, in total only one month passed. It starts with the intake which is used to get background information about the PhD project and personal preferences. I had a clear idea about the design and Ilse quickly translated this into five sketches which were exactly what I envisioned. The next steps were all about refinement and filling in the details of the cover. Contact with Ilse was very pleasant, she always responded quickly and gave good advice on other layout issues. Ongeveer een jaar geleden heb ik besloten Ilse te benaderen voor het ontwerpen van de omslag van mijn proefschrift.
