The group NanoBio is a research group at the Saxion University of Applied Sciences, located in the cities of Enschede and Deventer (The Netherlands). We are initiating, coordinating and executing applied research at the interface of nano- and microtechnology and life sciences. Our research is divided in four domains: molecular sensing technologies, lab/organ-on-chip technologies, nanostructured surfaces and societal embedding of nanotechnolgy. NanoBio has its own well-equipped lab facilities. There is a fully functional cell culture lab, a chemical synthesis unit and micro- and nanocharacterization lab. The research group is chaired by Martin Bennink. If you are interested in our research activities and want to have more information please contact Martin Bennink at
