The Upsilon is a good place to live if you study at Zernike. It's super quiet in the room so that you can sleep and study well. A supermarket, swimming pool, Pizza, SubWay... are very close. The lights in the room are very dark so that it is difficult to study at night. There are no shutters only curtains so that it gets very hot inside the room during sunny summer days. However, some things are broken although the building is quite new. Washing machines are very scruffy. The worst are the Resident Assistants and the housing manager. They are not helping with problems and are a waste of money. However, the caretaker is helpful and nice. I would go for the studio again but it's not perfect and there would be room for improvement.

It's wonderful. The building is like new, and the furniture also. Everything clean and very well maintained.
Fix the check in system. You would have a winner. Other than that probably the best SSH accomodation in Groningen.
Best rip off of my life, the prices are really spiced for what they offer, the employees don t care too much as well, it s only nice cuz it connects you to other students and it s pretty clean, apart from that, their business with ripping off internationals is going pretty well I d say.
Very convenient student housing. The shared apartment style is good for socialization and having flatmates while the rooms afford you privacy and your own bathroom with your own shower. Location is alright; it's not in the city center but it's walkable distance. The flats are of good size, and while the living area is not much, it's convenient enough for a small group to sit together.
