What a beautiful place to visit! I've lived in Haarlem my entire life, but only went here a long time ago on a school trip. We paid to have the tour into the big towers, added in the 1920's. It's a very interesting place to wander through, where you get a lot of freedom to pace yourselves. Lots of winding stairs, mind your head... Free entrance, but the tour only costs 7.50 and supports the maintenance of the building.

Beautiful Dome cathedral! Painted glass windows are gorgeous.

Grand church. The church just went through a renovation, so it is in the best state. The interior is beautifully redone. There is a new walkway that connects the two towers. On a good day, you can see the view from Amsterdam or beyond. Don't forget the small museum at the end of the building. It tells a story of the church and its recent renovation. A must see for tourists who come to the Netherlands.

Interesting to see a relatively new church. Many little details to find and appreciate. The sky bridge is worth the effort, but it does involve walking a lot of very narrow spiral stairs. And through the attics over the vaulted ceilings. Definitely mind your head. They do provide plenty of stops along the way including the church's bells and clock. Inside the dome especially if they are playing the organ is quite an experience.

Great cathedral to visit, some sections are still undergoing work as the cathedral is still partly unfinished. The staff gave us an excellent mini tour and lots of great explanations. The apple cake from the tea shop is really good.
