The staff were friendly and fun to chat with. Museum has a good variety of exhibits- something for everyone. While it's all in Dutch, you can get a translator phone. I didn't as the exhibits were interesting enough for me. Really liked all the vintage delft tiles, the hair exhibit and the gin room. Check it out. Support local culture. Inexpensive entry fee. Worth it.

Beautiful atmosphere inside and out, we had the opportunity to visit it with a friend of the place and he also gave us an additional description, fully enjoyed the visit, to see absolutely, beautiful and impressive the structure and architecture. Remarkable, absolutely recommend

Als je van geschiedenis houdt dan is het hannema museum heel erg leuk hele mooie projecten en schilderen voor jong en oud.

Fraaie en diverse collectie in een museum dat van alles toont waardoor Harlingen meer is dan de vertrekhaven naar de eilanden: zeegezichten die het ruige leven op het water laten zien, de welvaart als gevolg van de handel, zilversmeedwerk, de schitterende aardewerken tegeltableaus, ook het archief van Vestdijk, de grote schrijver die hier opgroeide en natuurlijk een mooie beeldentuin. Middenin de stad, sfeervol oud Huis.

Afgelopen weekend dit museum bezocht. Echt mooi gebouw. Er was een tentoonstelling met kunstwerken uit het Rijksmuseum. Erg van genoten.
