Ideal place for a small walking or hiking. The place turns purple (heide) during August, which is really nice to see. Recomended for a small outdoor day (if you're in the surroundings).

Huge nature preserve. Great place to take your dog! Look for signs that point to the off-leash areas, but be aware that you can be fined if your dog is running loose outside of these boundaries. I prefer to come on weekdays, because it's less crowded and the dogs seem better behaved. Wear hiking boots or dark tennis shoes as the sand is very dark and will soil them. I usually have to wash my dogs feet after his romp.

A lovely place for relaxing alone or with family. If you want to organise a big tour with your children or your dog you can find the proper place here. The nature is beautiful.
