Just back from a short holiday at this camping. We booked a very nice little house. Unfortunately, when we arrived on Sunday late afternoon the reception was closed. No big deal we were still able to get the key to the house from the owner. We had to park our car outside of the gate and walk everything to the house. Again, no big deal. We had a nice week, no facilities open except the snackbar. We were happy we could buy frites and beer. The owner was very nice. The next morning i get up and pay for the parking and get a pass and a key to the house. All in all we had a great week. Until we get home and the owner of the house said the camping said we did not pay for the parking. Luckily last minute i had taken the pin receipt off the table and put it in my bag. I could also show the money was taken out of my account. Still not resolved, we shall see. I do regret not getting a receipt that i turned the key and parking card back in. I am waiting for them to say i did not return it as how could I have if i did not pay!#%? That is an additional 75 for not turning in. The strange thing in the same woman help me both times i was at the reception. Lesson learned: Get a receipt for EVERYTHING! Definitely not a nice way to end a long needed vacation.

Nice camping with great features. The swimming pool is a lot of fun, the playground is well equipped and the mini golf is cute. However it's from the 70s and especially the house needed a huge makeover. But we enjoyed it nonetheless. Bring tea towels and hand towels though!
It's wonderful you can go with kids and they enjoy themselves all day then parent's can relax and enjoy themselves in the evening a very good place too be .
Greatest place to be with family! Very nice environment. I visited every year!
Green quiet family camping with swimming pool and playground
Een verouderd maar wel een heel leuk park met toch wel een leuke kantine . Snackbar en zwembad tevens aanwezig op dit park. Er staan chalets en caravans te koop in het duurdere en het goedkope segment. Het park is gelegen in de bossen
Deze campingeigenaar is gewetenloos. Zodra jij hem ergens mee confronteert, wordt er agressief en bedreigend gereageerd. Ik waarschuw iedereen die hier wellicht iets wil kopen...doe het niet. Ze zijn niet aangesloten bij de Recron en ze hebben hele vreemde voorwaarden en regels zoals een eigen Commissie. Voor de recreant is het een een wurgcontract. De Familie Poelman is ook eigenaar van Camping Erkemederstrand en voorheen Stadscamping Het Amsterdamse Bos. Lees de reviews daar ook eens om te zien met welke mensen je te maken krijgt. Tevens zijn er al een aantal kranten artikelen gewijd aan het leed wat er veroorzaakt is op Vakantie Park Camping De Hertenhorst. Een gewaarschuwd mens telt voor twee. Voor een korte vakantie zal het wel een prima camping zijn. Ze zijn in ieder geval druk met het opknappen van het park.
