While on vacation in Amsterdam, my friend purchased some English Earl Grey With Blue Flower from Dave's Koffiebranderij and it is the best Earl Grey I have ever had. We live in Austin,TX, USA and love this tea so when she ran out, I contacted Dave and asked him if he would ship to the USA. He was happy to ship to me but let me know the shipping was flat rate and a little pricey, so I placed a big order. I purchased 12 varities of tea and whole espresso beans. Dave shipped my order the day after he roasted the espresso beans, and they taste so amazing. I have tried five of the tea blends so far and love each one. I make pottery so I purchased extras to give with tea cups I make and gift this Christmas.
I have visited Dave at the local markets in Amsterdam a few times now over the past many months and I highly recommend his coffee and his service. He and his partner are always keen to help me make the right choice of coffee. Dave asks questions to try to better understand taste preferences and he has a good knowledge of his product. Nothing is too much trouble and his customer service is great. Once he even organised coffee to get to me in Australia from Amsterdam, via a work colleague. (Thanks so much Dave.) Dave has changed the packaging of his coffee to enable the bags to be reused, so if you love his coffee, as I do, keep the bags and bring them next time you catch up with him. Dave's range of products has grown, and on a cool Amsterdam morning, not much is better than his special hot chocolate..... yummeee.
