They provide vaccinations for travel but unfortunately not flu vaccinations that you also need for travel, so you need to get a separate doctor's appointment for that (very tricky if you are new in the country and have not signed up with a doctor yet). Previously you had to wait up to 4h at home until the doctor arrived but last time I got a message that he would be there within 2h so that's an improvement. The costs were adding up a lot since they had to come three times for full coverage of Hepatitis. My insurance did not cover any of this as I just have Basic coverage. Not sure if it was really worth it.

Me and my girlfriend were getting vaccinations to go to Sri Lanka, and we were super happy with the advice we got! It did not feel that they were trying to sell us all the possible vaccines, but instead we discussed our travel plans and thereafter judged which vaccines were essential and which were not. I can highly recommend Thuisvaccinatie!

Zojuist vaccinaties gekregen via thuisvaccinatie.nl: - Algehele indruk was echt belabberd en straalde pure arrogantie uit; - Zeer bijdehante vent die zonder overleg met mij van advies af wilt wijken; - Zegt te claimen dat buiktyfus vaccin niet nodig is omdat het maar 30-50% beschermt, waarop ik antwoord: dat is dus een percentuele risico uitsluiting waarop meneer nog arroganter wordt. Waarom zou ik dat niet willen als in Vietnam hygiëne een groot probleem is en vaak op straat gegeten zal worden? Uiteindelijk uiteraard zelf aangegeven dat ik hem wil hebben na het er door heen te hebben gedrukt; - Vervolgens wil ik een geel boekje hebben, zegt meneer: jij wilt ook echt alles hè?!! (moeizaam gezicht dat hij 2 stempels moet gaan zetten en maakt zich ineens druk over het feit dat zorgverzekeringen moeilijk doen over die 5 euro extra kosten? Toen snapte ik er vrij weinig meer van.

Wij zijn de laatste weken op 3 verschillende dagen geënt door verschillende arten van thuisvaccinatie. We gaan naar Bali en hebben DTP en hep A genomen. Daarna toch nog voor Rabiës gekozen. Alle 3 de keren zijn wij goed geïnformeerd en waren ds artsen erg vriendelijk.
