I went to Le Sting Piercings a year and a half ago for an ear piercing. The people are nice, but I've been inspired to write this review because after all that time, I'm still having problems with my piercing. I followed all the guidance I was given, leaving in a stud for several months, washing it regularly, and even now if I take out the piercing for more than a day it starts to close up again, and becomes painful if I use heavier earrings. I'm no expert on piercings, or what one can expect in terms of quality. All I know is that I had my other ear pierced somewhere else before going to Le Sting, and have experienced no such problems, and paid far less for it.

Le Sting is a great studio! It is well maintained and the staff are professional and friendly. There is a strong adherence to hygiene standards. Shaina pierced my conch - she is professional and lovely. She explained everything to me clearly and confidently, and guided me throughout the whole process which made me feel relaxed and at ease. Thank you, Shaina for a beautiful experience. Now that I am back in Australia, my piercing brings me many happy memories of gorgeous Utrecht and the Netherlands \u003c3
Lovely, patient people in a clean cool environment. Ferry is really good and super calming if your a little nervous.
Extremely friendly shop, right from the start I felt at home here. In the little waiting area there is tea, water and coffee. The girl behind the counter was very sweet and helpful, she gave a nice, relaxed and open vibe. Just behind the waiting area are some desks with computers for tattoo consultation, and behind that the actual tattoo area. In the back there is a small room for piercing. The intake process was easy and quick, with a folder to read about the possible risks. The piercer is very friendly and polite. He is gentle, to the point, honest, and knows what he's talking about. He talks you through the whole process and answers any questions you may have. He takes his time for every single person, so if you are nervous or scared, this is the place to go. Aftercare is explained, and you can come by for a downsize (or upsize in my case) for free. The jewelry is high quality and pretty too, and not very expensive at all. As I said when I got my piercing done: please, take my money, you guys deserve it.
I highly recommend! I had my first tongue piercing done yesterday and I was extremely impressed. I have been to another piercing place in Utrecht where the staff were not approachable at all, and I was made to sit in the waiting room for 30 minutes without them informing me on how long I'd even be waiting. When I arrived at Le Stings Piercings, the girl at the front desk informed me straight away of the wait so I was able to leave the store and keep myself busy for the duration, which I had absolutely no problem with. I came back and she was extremely apologetic and sincere which I appreciated. The man piercing me was also very genuine, I saw him showing general interest in his customers well-being which was really refreshing. Overall, this Studio is professional, a good environment and the staff have an amazing sense of customer service.
