I'm a huge fan of their tapas choices. They have a changing chef's dish every week. You get to choose between a large (2 people) and a small portion for one person. Can definitely recommend trying as many different options here as you can. Their pescadas are delicious. The interior of the restaurant is very cozy, I love the way it feels like you're sitting in a pedestrian side street somewhere in Madrid.
The best restaurant in Maastricht! You can feel the Spanish atmosphere as soon as you step inside! It can be rather busy but that's what makes it authentic! Locals and tourists mix here. You can sip a cocktail at the bar with some tapas or have an amazing menu... The food is great and the service very friendly!! They speak all languages and are helpful!
Mixed quality of tapas for a big price. Nice terrace and interior. Fairly quick service as well. Unfortunately not all dishes are that well done. With squid I expect nice grill marks that give that nice BBQ flavour to it. Unfortunately it was pale and not the best flavours. The olives were a huge disappointment: boring and lack of flavour: we left most of them. The grilled vegetables were very little and therefore also way overpriced. The albondigas, shrimp croquettes and seabass were all tasty though. Bread and wine are expensive and tap water a 2,50 charge. I think it's overall overpriced for the general quality of food you get.
