Beautiful castle we ran into unexpectedly during a trip through South Limburg. It's originally a 14th century castle which was extended during later periods. The courtyard is surrounded by buildings on all sides creating a courtyard that still evokes the medieval atmosphere of the place.

Redelijk mooi kasteel in een prachtig landschap ! Langs kasteel is een wandelpad.
Het kasteel ziet er leuk uit. Er zijn op het terrein diverse woningen gevestigd. De woningen worden goed onderhouden. De bijgebouwen en ook de brug naar het kasteel zien er verwaarloosd uit.
Dit is echt een prachtig kasteel, zeker de moeite waard om te bekijken als je in Zuid Limburg bent.
Mooi kasteeltje verstopt achter de kerk in Mheer....helaas niet te bezichtigen .
