Beautiful place, you can sit or touch anything you want. The staff was super friendly. It costs 8 euros or 5 if your under 26.

Was lucky enough to visit this beautiful house during Open Monuments Dag. Amazing interior and such a interesting glimpse into the lives of Merchants in the 1600s. In my opinion there could be more information about the different rooms and the house itself.

This his a hidden gem, the hospitality is great and the building is surprising. The rooms of this house are one by one stunning. Nice surprises hidden in the building. It has a lovely big garden (for Amsterdam standards). The association Hendrick de Keijzer did a great job to preserve this beautiful house along one of the most posh canal's of Amsterdam.

Super fun small museum! It's a small house, but has a lot of different styles and really interesting audio tour. The people who work here are really friendly and welcoming :)

Very kind and personable volunteers greet you at the door. (You must ring the bell to get in.). It wasn’t crowded (in fact I was the only visitor for a while) so I took my time lingering in rooms to absorb the atmosphere. Lots of information on the audio tour (also available in English). And the volunteers were able to answer my questions as well as giving their own explanations to rooms. The garden is also open. You are offered a cup of coffee and a home-baked cookie down in the kitchen. Very special.

Amazing place! Still a hidden gem that not many tourists have found. Definitely the best of the canal house museums. And very friendly staff!

Interesting place, staff very knowledgeable, electronic guides available. Garden area at the back very calm and peaceful. Drinks available in the old kitchen. Lots of original features although much of the house now converted to offices. 8 entrance fee a little expensive considering fees in other museums but happy to pay to keep the house open. Worth a visit if you're in the area.

It was very nice to see inside one of these big houses on the canal. The gentlemen there were very kind. You can look in all the cupboards, garden, etc. The short audio tour was decent. Worth a few euros for a history lesson. We spent a bit more than 30 minutes there.
