I've arranged about 10 solo and group cycling holidays in the Netherlands over the past few years (and three times this year) and have hired from many different bike shops. The hire prices at Hoegen are very good and there is a broad selection of different types of bicycle to choose from, all of which appeared clean and in decent order. The premises contain dozens if not hundreds of bikes. In summer, book in advance as they understandably get busy. I hired a 7-speed town bike which was clean and worked perfectly. Rob, the owner, speaks good English and he kindly discussed a few itineraries I could do within the four days I was in Nunspeet - his choice of routes were excellent (cycling through woods and fields; tour of the Hanseatic towns). You can also download some .gpx and .pdf route maps from their website to use on your smartphone or on the professional GPS they hire out. There is also an online map on their website which points out all the cycle paths - this was very useful when viewed on my mobile phone combined using the phone's GPS location dot, all on the same map. All in all, a great experience. The shop is easy to find and I understand they deliver bicycles to certain locations, so worth calling in advance if that might be of interest. I look forward to returning and hiring bicycles from Hoegen again.
Prima service, ontzettend leuke gps mtb routes
Vanmiddag een lekke band tussen knooppunt 29 en 13 gekregen. Na telefonisch contact kwam een zeer vriendelijke vrouw bij knooppunt 13 een andere fiets brengen, zodat wij weer heerlijk verder konden fietsen. Super service.
Vriendelijke mensen, netjes geholpen en veel fietsen en leuk assortiment. Zelf fatbike en electrische mtb gehuurd echt een aanrader. Jammer dat de route niet goed van de website is te downloaden meerdere keren geprobeerd. (Volgens eigenaar vanwege de vele online aanvallen).
Fantastisch bedrijf. Alles goed geregeld. Onze reservering stond klaar met heldere uitleg van het personeel. Alles werd ter plaatse nogmaals ontsmet. Als extra service werd er nog een extra riempje meegegeven om onze hond in de bakfiets te kunnen zeker.
